Well I got three numbers, good for a two dollar profit off this play. Tom Cruise is laughing…

Why Why Tom Cruise do you hate me! Have I not sacrificed enough organic bean sprouts to please you?!

As it typically goes I was one number off on like every play it seems. I had two of five on one and four of five by being one off including the power ball!

I’m beginning to believe that Tom Cruise does not exist.

What are the odds?? Three, count that… one, two, THREE laptops die!

First the wife’s dies, understandable as the cpu fan dies sometime ago and it was nearly five years old. I convinced her to buy a netbook (of course not the one I suggested!). A day before that, I resurrected  my old Alienware that had a cooling problem but I think I remedied the problem.

It dies a day later (Window to be specific), I have to dig around to find my XP disk. I wasn’t worry as I have my SLI laptop.

I haven’t touched the SLI laptop for oh about a month after I got it back from Alienware for a repair (I believe in warranties now!!). The screen wouldn’t come up so I figured it was stuck in external monitor mode (though I do remember not using it as I had Backtrack3 on it).

I finally get it to snap out of it’s coma, move on with life and setup this site, read some more on CodeIgniter and go to bed. I was excited to get to work when alas, it is comatose again. I should have bought another year on service!!

Oh well, as underpowered as it is, the wife will have to learn to share her netbook. I think my next laptop (after I get the SLI repaired…. again) will be a netbook.

While we were browsing locally, I discovered that Acer has a dual core Celeron that looks pretty decent.

Tom Cruise, if you are real and can hear my, please don’t let my SLI machine die!! It’s not it’s time!
